Event Description
It may seem like witchy, hippie stuff, but using plants as medicine is increasingly being supported by hard science. In this workshop students will touch, taste, smell and discuss the properties of various popular medicinal herbs. We will review the various functions of herbs and herbal preparations like teas, vinegars, tinctures, liniments, and salves. Students will prepare their own herbal tincture to take home. Participants will also learn about growing and foraging your own herbs.
